About Mailiac
I am Jan Winum from Denmark. I run Mailiac remotely from my laptop as a one-person business, with AI helping me turn the old newsletter bottleneck into something small businesses can finally keep up with.
The beginning
Mailiac began while I was working inside an agency. I noticed there was an email system we could branch out from and turn into a focused sub-brand. The opportunity was simple: businesses needed help using email, but they did not just need software. They needed confidence, support, and someone who could make the whole thing feel manageable.
So I put the Mailiac logo on it and offered a higher-support version of the service. That support was what convinced the first client, a shopping center that came through a referral from the agency.
They stayed with Mailiac for more than 15 years. That first long relationship shaped the way I still think about the service: email works best when the business has someone helping them keep the habit alive.
What kept repeating

For years, the missing piece was execution. Small businesses knew newsletters were useful, but writing one every week kept losing to client work, operations, sales, and everything else that had to happen first.
When AI became good enough to understand a business website, produce useful drafts, revise with direction, and create a finished newsletter workflow, I rebuilt Mailiac around that opportunity. The service today is designed around the request I had heard for years: help us send more newsletters.
Mailiac today
Today Mailiac is intentionally lean. I run it as a one-person business from Denmark, remotely from my laptop, with AI as the production partner. That is why the service can be fast, practical, and affordable compared with hiring a freelance writer or building an internal content process.
Mailiac scans your website, drafts a designed newsletter, lets you review and request changes, then gives you HTML to copy into your email platform. You keep control of the send. Mailiac removes the blank page and the weekly writing delay.
The mission is not to make email marketing complicated. It is to help good businesses stay remembered by the people who already asked to hear from them.
